- The amount of creeping
- The quite one-sided second half
- The mistakes from Pawlak (the mana pendants on the MK, yet no thunder clap and not too many bolts resulting with the nearly full mana hero in many of the fights; the macro issues during the second half of the game)
The decision-making of Pawlak was inspiring and enjoyable to watch, but his mechanics was far from flawless. RapiNG's one was superior, so was his creeping.
Definitely not the coolest scenario to watch, but the quality of gaming was high. I'm ok with Top.
a very gg!
raping has been bossing around pawlak's side since the very beginning providing some nice action
the abuse of mass tp by pawlak was marvelous to witness as well, forcing raping to an endless ping pong
i agree that during this period he should have expanded but i also believe this to be the only flaw of the game
the second half wasnt that one-sided imo as both players had no income and the only big difference was pala 4/5
The game is obviously well played by both and the the fight between the 2 different strategies make the game more interesting. (Fast am6 vs fast mk3)
But there's a little too much creep and i'm not a fan of mass teleport games(that's just my personal taste). I found the game a little boring (extremely well played, but still boring).
It also lack of close moment, unexpected actions, crazy hero saves etc etc.
So, overall i would say that surely this can't be a rotw (it lacks everything i search in a rotw) but it could be a decent candidate (it is a little below our standard imo) for top replay promotion.
I don't understand why a rotw vote of the one and only RainyMonday counts less than three top votes of his fellow admins
Which should be investigated
The game was very good but I have a few words for pawlak
You outplay rhaning in early game and mid game often but the problem is that regularly there is no follow up to your original, often edgy plan, in this particular case a switch to no expo gryphons against two goldmines
It's hard to finish the opponent in human mirror at the first attempt
Especially on a big ass map like this one
That's why your fight performance has to be perfect
If it's not he just goes back to creeping and remember that running or even flying to his base takes time and he uses this time to creep sometimes even 2 big camps and modify his unit combination
You are the smarter player but your need to improve your micro
Your paladin and mountan king were asleep at times and you can't afford that playing against cookie-cutting abuse in hands of a player who makes almost no mistakes
pawlak should not let him breathe and keep harrasing him with that mass tp, it was the only moment when he could win this game, after he tp back to his base and decide to creep instead of tp back to rapings shop, raping had enough time to recover, that was the one and only mistake which gave pawlak lose, he didnt even need the expand as some people say, that money he should invest in pots from shop
it took me a long time to watch this game because of this horrible map. raping was solid and played standard. at the beginning he was aggressive which surprised me. pawlak had good ideas but he made some important mistakes. it's funny how different these 2 players are. btw i don't understand why u use tp in a tournament. it is good for ffa but not for 1vs1. mass creeping, extremely big, flying creeps, it's almost like crucible
